Gumdrop Guannthrop is the story that I am working on the most out of the ones listed. The protagonist, Donna, glummly navigates typical highschool life, while her two guiding counterparts, Win and GUA, make things worth mind. The three have a well established system in place, with Win keeping Donna up to standard and GUA allowing her to let loose. However, starting her first year, the iceberg begins to shift, roles painfully shifting. [more should be added eventually whoops]
soooo i am making GG multimedia, splitting this story into two parts: a webcomic, and what i will call the "iceberg site". the "iceberg site" will be a form of story telling told on this very site, in the form of a sort of exploration clicker game? think something similar to that of the neocities site I-Land. as you click around random items, you go to more and more pages showing additional content. the earliest pages obviously being more general/lighthearted and the furthest pages showing deeper parts of the 3 characters psyches [hence the iceberg metaphor].i really dislike the idea of making a potential audience have to navigate like. two different places just to get the idea of whats going on, so everything necessary to understand the characters/plot of GG can be found in the webcomic, with the iceberg site merely being optional.
Gumdrop Guannthrop's very first conception was in december of 2024, and since then ive actively been developing it. it was only until liek, the summer of 2025 i started making plans to have it get out on the internet publically
[considering how barebones this site looks rn it may be a good idea for me to use this list to give a general idea of what im going for]
god i swore to myself when i had made the placeholder title just a combination of the 3's names i would SURELY find something less lazy in the future and yet. here we are. "guannthrop". it was only a week ago upon writing this that i thought to myself "hey the word gumdrop sounds awfully similar" and seeing as the mention of gums fits perfectly with the teeth motif i was planning on adding, there it stuck. uh. you can interpret the word "gumdrop" being before "guannthrop" as an actual word devolving into something incomprehensible upon further reading as like. symbolic of donna's own world becoming more confusing as the story progresses. yeah i definitely planned that out elaborately.
